  • Federal Grants Received by Cleburne County Schools

    Title I, Part A:

    The purpose of Title I, Part A is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging State academic achievement standards.

    Title II, Part A:

    The purpose of Title II, Part A is to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality and effectiveness.

    Title III, Part A:

    Title III, Part A is to ensure that limited English proficient (LEP) students, including immigrant children and youth, develop English proficiency and achieve academic success.

    Title IV, Part A:

    The Title IV-A program is intended to improve students’ academic achievement by increasing the capacity of states, local education agencies (LEAs), schools, and local communities to (1) provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, (2) improve school conditions for student learning, and (3) improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.

    Title V:

    The Rural and Low-Income Schools program is an initiative that provides grant funds to rural LEAs that serve concentrations of children from low-income families.
