Cleburne County Schools Attendance Policy:
EXCUSED ABSENCES
After the tenth (10th) absence in the academic school year, a doctor’s excuse, legal excuse, or an excuse pertaining to a death in the family must be submitted to the appropriate school within three (3) days of the student’s return to school.
Students should be punctual in attendance. Students in grades 7-12 will be counted absent if they miss more than half of a class due to tardiness or early departure. Students in grades K-6 will be counted absent if they miss more than half of a day due to tardiness or early departure.
